NON INDUCTIVE RESISTORS
Low inductance Aryton - Perry winding type resistors are available in this series. For non-inductive types reduce maximum resistance values shown to 50% and the continuous working voltage to 70%
PRE-FORMED LEADS
The resistor terminations can be bent and cut as per requirements for quick PCB mounting. Please send detailed drawings of the type of preforming required.
TAPING
Types H-1, H-2, H-3, H-3A, H-4, H-5A & H-5 can be supplied in taped form. Please refer Taping Specification

Dielectric withstanding voltage
Max.D R ± (1% + 0.05ohms ). No flashover, mechanical damage, arcing or insulation breakdown.

Short time overload
Max..D R ± ( 2% + 0.05ohms). No arcing, burning or charring. [Test method - 5 sec at 5 times rated power for 3 watts and smaller; 5 sec at 10 times rated power for 4 watts and larger]


Voltage rating
The resistors shall have a rated DC, continuous working voltage, or an approximate sine-wave root mean square (rms.) working voltage at commercial line frequency corresponding to the power rating as determined by the following formula

where,
E = rated DC or rms. continuous working voltage.
P = Power rating in watts.
R = Nominal resistance in ohms.
 

Rated ambient temperature - 25°C
Full power dissipation at upto 25°C and linearly derated down to zero dissipation at 275°C. [See derating curve]

ENVIRONMENTAL SPECIFICATIONS
Temp. co-efficient - very low values ± 400 ppm/ °C, low values ± 250 ppm/ °C, medium and high values ± 60ppm/ °C to 150 ppm/ °C [Test method no. 304 of MIL 202 F]
[TCR figures given are based on the usage of normally selected cost effective resistance elements and can be significantly lowered on request]

1) In case non inductive type is required please prefix HTR type with "N" eg: NH-2

2) Types H5, H7, H7A, H10 and H10A can be supplied with lead diameter of 1.0 mm. Please specify to avoid confusion.
